Had a booksigning at Grand Central Station!

Here I am at my booksigning at Grand Central Station in New York… I had a big surprise when Rachael Ray walked in and wanted one of my books!!
It was a total shock… then she wisked me away to be on her show! I cooked Turkey Stroganoff with her, one of the recipes in my cookbook. I’ll be on Wednesday, May 2nd… hope you can watch!

Hi Jack, I watched the show and not only did you show charisma but also inspiration for all. Twenty two years ago I lost my beloved father and presently my nephew is fighting once again for his 2nd time. He too was diagiosed at the age of 2.and is 9 years old to date. In mid May he will be having his transplate and turning 10. I see alot of charisma and inspiration in him too. I’m going to buy your book as a gift to him. I hope he watched the show. Thanks and keep your head held high!

    • Hi Flora,

Since I was 2 years old I have fought leukemia. I relapsed the first time at 6 and then again at 11, which was this past June…I spent all last summer in the hospital and on August 26th I had a bone marrow transplant. They told me I had a 40% chance to survive. That was just 8 months ago. Being able to promote my cookbook now is a dream come true for me. Tell your nephew he can do it, stay strong and positive. Believe in yourself. These next few weeks will be the hardest for him  but don’t give up… just get through it! Tell him he will be back to his old self before he knows it!! Here is the link to me on the Rachael Ray Show… hope he can watch!

  5. I saw you on Rachael Ray’s show today and have to say, you’re an inspiration for kids and adults. Sometimes we lose faith in humanity, but you are a great example of someone doing something positive and beautiful with their life. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world (and thank you to your parents for encouraging you to do so). I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors & health!
